Instructor-led and self-paced learning can take place both online and face-to-face. In this course we will only focus on the online aspect. In the latter case, the name of the aggregation of online instructor-led and online self-paced learning equals e-learning.
In a hybrid learning environment, learners are taught at the same time, but not necessarily in the same place. Learners can be present face-to-face in the physical learning environment, but can also participate online.
